Eating Healthy With Overnight Oats
Meal prepping is an essential part eating healthy. Overnight oats are a great healthy breakfast that are packed with nutrients and that keep you full for hours. In order to maintain a healthy lifestyle you must set yourself up for success and prepping healthy meals allows for healthier meal choices.
I am a busy mom of 2 little ones and in the past my days would blaze by and before I knew it I would have gone the whole day without eating. Not because I wasn't hungry, but because I didn't feel like getting up and making food for myself AGAIN. If I was hungry, I'd grab a quick unhealthy granola bar, crackers, or some other kind of prepackaged junk food that wasn't the healthiest of choices.
These days, meal time looks much different for me. I am still a busy mom of 2 but I allow myself to take time for me. To help myself out so that I am a better mother, wife, and person. I take a few hours throughout my week to prep meals that set me up for success. That way when I'm working hard on my home based business, or hanging out with my kids, or even if I'm just feeling lazy, and hunger strikes, I know that there is a healthy meal ready to go in my fridge for me to grab. Overnight oats are one of those meals that I grab and go. They are great for breakfast, lunch, snacks, or even dessert!
